I'm a long-standing resident of Hinesburg VT, a town that has always been dear to me. However, since the hiring of Todd Odit as Town Manager and Joy Dubin-Grossman as his Assistant, our once peaceful town has progressively deteriorated. Their way of running things has allowed for the bullying of town officials and the wrongful loss of treasured department heads. This reign of inefficiency needs to come to an end. 

Our beloved town was brought to its knees when an unqualified fire chief was put in charge of the Hinesburg Fire Department by Mr. Odit's leadership, leading to a disastrous period where the HFD failed to respond to more emergency calls than it tackled. Thankfully, our current Fire Chief, the exceptional Prescott Nadeau, managed to restore the faith of our community in the HFD. Yet, we live in constant fear that he too, like many other employees, could be forced out by the hostile environment created by Mr. Odit.

Furthermore, Ms. Dubin-Grossman's role not only adds unnecessary costs to our town's budget but her impact has been glaringly unproductive. We need people who truly care for the people and prosperity of Hinesburg in these important roles.

Our town deserves leaders who live and breathe Hinesburg, who are dedicated to its growth, and will treat their fellow town residents with respect. We must protect our community and its values. Hence, we ask for the removal of Todd Odit and Joy Dubin-Grossman from their current positions to make way for more efficient and empathetic leadership.
