Demand the Removal of the Ineffective Athletic Director

The Issue

Our school, Parkersburg South in Parkersburg, WV, USA, a revered institution that media sources have consistently ranked as one top performers in the area, has always taken pride in nurturing the sporting talent of our young athletes. Yet, of late, we have witnessed a drastic decline in the health and spirit of our school's athletic program. Having traced the source of the problem, we find ourselves compelled to launch this petition to remove the current Athletic Director from her position.

This demand does not stem from a personal vendetta but rather is a deeply felt concern for the welfare of our athletes and the future of our school's sporting heritage. Data suggests that there has been a palpable dip in the school's athletic performance as well as misuse of funds since the current Athletic Director took over. The lack of innate understanding of sports, our community, and inappropriate management has gravely affected the overall performance and growth of our athletes. This has been echoed by several students, parents, and also the alumni network who have observed the school's fall from grace in sports.

Moreover, several reports have highlighted a significant increase in students quitting sports due to demotivation, consequential to her chaotic management style. The confidence of our student-athletes is at an all-time low, and the morale of the entire athletic department is deflated. This issue deserves immediate attention.

School sports are not merely games, but they are also pivotal in shaping the character, discipline, and leadership skills of students. It's time we take a step forward to preserve our school's reputation and safeguard our student's interests. Hence, we plead with the governing body to replace the incumbent Athletic Director with a person capable of reviving the sports culture in our school.

Stand with us and let our voices reverberate within the corridors of our beloved school. Sign this petition to demand a better future for our student-athletes.
