Demand the Removal of Tenant in 15A for Invasion of Privacy

The Issue

I am a resident of Nesconset, NY, and I live in fear every day due to the actions of one individual - the tenant living in apartment 15A. This tenant has installed numerous cameras around our property and monitors all tenants' movements without their consent. There has been three cameras removed so far from the property, but I fear he has more. When I confronted him about this invasive behavior, his response was merely to "smile at the trees." As a single woman, his constant surveillance makes me feel uncomfortable and unsafe even when performing simple tasks like taking out my garbage.

This situation is not just about me; many other women in our community share these feelings of discomfort and fear. This invasion of privacy is not only unethical but also potentially illegal under New York State law which prohibits video surveillance without consent (New York Penal Code § 250.45).

We are calling on our property management team to take immediate action by removing this tenant from apartment 15A. We should not have to live in fear within our own homes due to one person's disregard for basic respect and privacy rights.

Please sign this petition if you believe that everyone deserves a safe living environment free from unwarranted surveillance. Let's make sure that we can once again feel secure within our own homes!
