I am a tenant, living under the management of Suzanne Haynes, a figure we should be able to trust and rely on. Regrettably, this is not our reality. Suzanne has not only retaliated against me, but discriminated against me, as well as many other tenants around our property. She has prioritised befriending the locals over upholding a professional role that carries significant responsibilities. Many have lost their homes, their children, their housing assistance vouchers, and more due to her inability to control her substance abuse and emotional state.

We are subject to pest, mold, fungus, water damage, cat infestation, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. Those living conditions are unbearable and frankly illegal in many jurisdictions due to their impact on our health and well-being. The Department of Public Health reports that continuous exposure to mold and fungus can lead to various health issues like asthma, allergies, and other respiratory issues. Living under the threat of retaliation and discrimination takes a mental toll, too.

What is distressing is that, for many, the home is a sanctuary. Yet, under Suzanne's mismanagement, it feels more like a battlefield. We need a leader who can lead with integrity, empathy, and professionalism. Residing in our homes should not leave us in constant anxiety due to the erratic behavior and mismanagement of our property manager.

We implore for an end to this. We request all relevant and responsible parties to step up and demand the immediate removal of Suzanne Haynes as property manager.
