Demand the Removal of Potentially Dangerous Dog Owned by Dwayne

The Issue

We are residents of the tranquil neighborhood. Last night another horrific attack placed another one of our beloved pets in the ER with puncture wounds from an attack from a dog that lives in the garage at 319 N 41st Street.

We were once comfortable letting our children play in the yard and our smaller pets bask in the sun. Those peaceful days, however, appear to be over due to the presence this aggressive dog owned by our neighbor, Dwayne.

As a parent and a pet owner, I have two small children and loving pets whose lives have been disrupted by the fear that Dwayne's part German Shepard and part malamute dog instills. This animal has a history of attacking smaller dogs, and in one distressing incident, even a child. Consequently, four incidents have already been reported to local authorities.

In our home, a haven transformed into a prison, our kids are now terrified to step out, and our smaller pets live in the shadow of a lurking danger. Indeed, an alarming majority of our neighbors share similar fears, as they also have smaller pets and tender-aged children.

Unfortunately, the control exhibited by Dwayne over his pet has proved to be consistently inadequate. This dog habitually escapes from Dwayne's garage and leash, thereby imposing a genuine risk on our community's safety.

Although Dwayne claims the dog is a wild hybrid, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has confirmed that this is not the case, thus debunking any potential justification for the dog’s extreme behavior.

Enough is enough. We cannot wait for another attack to take action. It’s time to confront this issue firmly, for the safety of our pets, our children, and our community as a whole. We urge the authorities to remove this dog owned by Dwayne at 319 N 41st Street.
