I am Courtney Lewis Nickerson, a concerned parent of a minor enrolled at Brenham High School, and I am advocating for immediate change. My child has been continually subjected to harassment, defamation, and gossip perpetuated by Assistant Principal Jessica Toliver. These actions have not only tarnished Brenham High School's reputation but have also caused my child significant mental distress and anxiety.

Jessica Toliver's pattern of behavior is not an isolated incident. Over time, there have been too many instances of "turn the other cheek" from the administration regarding her conduct. This has emboldened her to continue displaying toxic and reckless behavior that leaves our children confused, unheard, and emotionally damaged.

As parents, we entrust our children's well-being and education to Brenham ISD, yet Jessica Toliver's actions undermine this trust. It is unacceptable that an educator uses their position to inflict emotional harm on students, ultimately affecting their mental health and well-being.

It is time for Brenham ISD to step up and address this issue by removing Jessica Toliver from her post. This is the only way to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students, where they can focus on learning and growing without the fear of harassment or intimidation.

This petition is a call to action for the school board and Brenham ISD administrators. We demand an immediate investigation into Jessica Toliver’s conduct and her removal from her position to restore safety and peace of mind for our children.
