Leqaa Kordia, a figure that we know and respect, was illegally abducted, mirroring the illegal abduction of Mahmoud Khalil by DHS and ICE in an attempt to deport him. Now, they have laid their hands on Leqaa, a heart-wrenching, shocking display of criminalizing freedom of speech. 

Leqaa Kordia is not a criminal; she is targeted for exercising her right to free speech, a right that is the cornerstone of democracy and guarded by international human rights legalities. The United Nations Declaration of Human Rights Article 19 protects the freedom of speech. The incident is a disturbing violation of this universal principle.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have shown unconstitutionality by their conduct, setting a dangerous precedent. If they are not held accountable for their actions now, this disregard for human rights will carry on unimpeded.
