Demand the Reinstatement of Danielle Cox's Parental Rights by the Missouri Supreme Court

Demand the Reinstatement of Danielle Cox's Parental Rights by the Missouri Supreme Court
The Issue
I am Danielle Cox, a mother wrongfully separated from my children by the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS). Despite fulfilling all required steps, my efforts have been ignored and undermined by case workers, falsely claiming my indifference towards my familial responsibilities. Tragically, despite my diligent efforts, my bond with my children was never properly assessed.
My children and I have been casualties of a system marred by failures and irregularities. The family court system permitted DSS workers and case managers to overlook mandatory reunification procedures, reject family placement options, and infringe upon my legal rights to visit my children. This situation spotlights the harsh reality of countless parents suffering under similar circumstances — the calling into question of family reunification procedures, as mandated by the Adoption and Safe Families Act (1997).
Cruelly separated from my children, I am a victim to a broken system that has forsaken its commitment to family preservation and instead facilitated family dissolution, contrary to the standards set by Missouri Children’s Division Family-Centered Services Manual that emphasizes the protection of "children's right to live with their own family."
This fight for justice is not solely about my personal experience but represents a wider cause to stop wrongful family separactions. Upholding the law and putting the interests of families first should be the emphasis. I compel everyone to join me in appealing to the Missouri Supreme Court, demanding the reversal of my wrongful termination of parental rights and seeking accountability from the Missouri DSS for failing to follow state and federal laws protecting families. Please sign and share this petition to demand change. It's time to make our voices heard and bring families back together.
