Our beloved gym teacher, Coach Tom, who many would argue is the best we've ever had, has recently been let go for reasons we deem unfair. Not only has he gone above and beyond to ensure our physical health, but he has also had a profound impact on our overall well-being.

During his teaching tenure, Coach Tom has been responsible for an unprecedented increase in student participation in physical education. We believe his unique approach to teaching and dedication to students don't deserve such treatment. His dismissal harms not only him, but also displaces us, his students, leaving us without a trusted and capable mentor in an essential part of our education.

We, his students and those who care about just treatment of dedicated teachers, call for a reexamination of the circumstances leading to his dismissal. We request due process and justice for Coach Tom.

We implore those in charge to reconsider their current stance in light of the positive impact he’s had on our school community.
