My name is Tina Rose-  a resident of WEST FRANKFORT ILLINOIS  and I have personally experienced fear, ignorance, and neglect by the supposed officials of our town. I have been threatened by both Mayor Tim Arview and the code officer Thad Snell, illuminating a painfully clear picture of a system that refuses safety to its residents and bargains with personal threats. Our Mayor's nonchalance extends beyond personal threats; he refuses to enforce the town code, which is the minimal expectation of his role. Additionally, his failure to conduct regular audits has resulted in the withdrawal of all grant funding – a significant blow to the resources that fuel our town's development.

WEST FRANKFORT CANNOT ALLOW TIM ARVIEW TO LOSE ANY MORE FUNDING FOR OUR TOWN AND THREATEN PEOPLE WHILE HE DESTROYS OUR FINANCES. Citizens entrust their security and progress to the hands of officials like Mayor Tim Arview. However, his misuse of his role and breach of trust is a clear indicator that he is unfit for office. His actions or rather, inactions, are a blatant disregard of his oath to office, causing harm to disabled residents, and disrupting the harmony and progression of our town. Transparency, safety, and commitment are not mere options; they are mandatory aspects of public service. Mayor Arview's failings, increasing threats, and negligence are affecting us all.

Therefore, we, the people of this town, request the local government authority to urgently recall and remove Mayor Tim Arview from office. We seek to foster a safe and secure environment for all residents, one where our rights are safeguarded, respected and our voices matter. We have had enough of Mayor Arview's mendacity and his lackey administration; it's time for concrete change. Please sign and share this petition. MAJOR ACTS OF HARM TO RESIDENTS

You can review footage and video evidence of this at thebigmuddy.substack.com.   ON April 10,2025 MAYOR TIMOTHY ARVIEW HAD TO TAKE THE WITNESS STAND IN THE FRANKLIN COUNCY CIRCUIT COURT.   

While on the stand, Mayor Arview stated for the record - that he "thought up" "made up" "hallucinated" "dreamed up" things he thought a specific resident "could do or might have done." He then wrote them down and swore to them under perjury. HE MADE UP GARBAGE AND SIGNED IT IN THE COURT AND TESTIFIED TO GAIN A NO STALKING CONTACT ORDER ON A DISABLED RESIDENT SIMPLY TO PREVENT HER FROM ACCESSING GOVERNMENT SERVICES FOR SAFETY OR EVEN TO PAY HER WATER BILL.

This Mayor is terrified of women who speak, of disabled persons who demand crime be addressed and of all those who insist that municipal building codes are followed. 

IF HE IS WILLING TO LIE AND PERJUR HIMSELF UNDER OATH TO HARM A DISABLED WOMAN WHOM HE THREATENED TO DEMOLISH HER HOME SO A SLUMLORD'S ILLEGAL RENTAL CAN BE MADE LEGAL - THEN HE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND IS FAILING TO UPHOLD HIS OATH TO OFFICE.
