Demand the president of Nigeria to resign immediately

The Issue

In recent years, life in Nigeria has become a terrifying and unsafe reality. My city, once peaceful, is now surrounded by forests occupied by dangerous bandits, striking relentlessly and spreading fear among citizens. Just yesterday, a mere few miles away in Kogi state, 40 innocent people were kidnapped. I fear for my own safety, knowing that I or a member of my family could easily become the next victim.

Even more disturbing, today we awoke to the horrendous news of primary school children, none older than ten, brutally slaughtered, a tragedy that exemplifies the ongoing brutality from the north to the west of Nigeria. Each of these events reflects a government failing at its most fundamental duty: to protect its citizens.

The current president has consistently ignored these alarming acts of violence, and his inaction has left our country in despair and disarray. We can no longer stand by as Nigerian lives continue to be lost in shocking numbers—these are not just statistics but human lives, families and futures utterly destroyed.

The government's neglect has empowered bandits and allowed corruption and chaos to thrive. We urgently need leadership that will take decisive action against these threats, bring safety back to our towns and cities, and restore hope to our communities.

Therefore, we call for the resignation of the current president of Nigeria, who has demonstrated a clear inability to secure the safety and future of our nation. It's time for someone capable, committed, and courageous to take charge and lead Nigeria towards peace and stability.
