A shocking admission in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, that interviewed a lot of different soldiers and commanders talking about how they were given orders to shoot and kill Palestinians who were seeking aid in order to disperse the crowds. Now for a month since this began on May 27 the Israeli military and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation have denied or downplayed the fact that there are Palestinians getting killed while they were seeking aid.
549+ people have been killed, thousands have been wounded. They have not posed a threat to anyone. As the blockade and starvation continues, it becomes more abundantly clear that Israel wants Palestinians to be desperate and fighting amongst themselves, giving any excuse to open fire and kill them. The moment there is disturbance, they kill them. Let's again be reminded that there were less disturbances when humanitarian aid was able to flow freely, and 400 distribution sites were open during the ceasefire.
The Israeli Finance Minister Belazel Smotrich said that if he could starve the Palestinians he would, and he would cut off the water so they would die quickly of thirst. But due to international pressure, they must pretend to be feeding them, but keep them on the brink of starvation. Truly evil and despicable.
A Palestinian-Australian doctor in Gaza talks about the injuries she is seeing.
"We're seeing gunshot wounds either to the brain or chest. We're seeing young kids that have had to go out to try get food for their families. They're also coming in with explosive injuries. We're talking about shrapnel injuries that are either piercing the spinal cords and making people paraplegic, rupturing eye globes. We had a 13 year old boy the other day, who had a shrapnel injury through his brain. Tore through his right eye, pierced through his heart and shattered his intestines. I'll never forget the wailing of the father saying goodbye to his son who passed away on the operating table."
She goes onto explain that limbs become mangled when people are trampled and ran over amidst the chaos.
"It's very bewildering to me that we can stand by and the world can watch this go on where a population has now gone into their fourth month of being forcibly starved."
I would like to update you on this news, as well as remind you to not forget about this and keep fighting, and taking action to pressure the governments and powers that be to do what is right.
