Hello everyone, I apologise for loads of recent updates. But I would like to remind everyone of our initiative and what we are signing, sharing and sending emails for.
We are hoping to bring awareness about the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation", and asking our government to address and discuss this horror, and call for a humanitarian corridor to be opened and for experienced aid agencies to be allowed into Gaza. As of recent, 516 people have been confirmed murdered, 39 are missing and presumed dead, and 3799+ have been shot and wounded, many conditions critical. All people who have been pushed to seek aid out of hunger and starvation.
I have seen a video from yesterday, the 24th of June. I highly recommend you watch the video in full so you can hear their voices and statements and in emotions in full (the video is extremely upsetting however).
A mother who lost her son (who was trying to get aid) pleas and cries for her son to get up, and asks; "what if he's still alive, what if you're alive and messing with me."
"This is starvation. This isn't aid, this is humiliation. He died for it, he's gone. If only you hadn't gone, my dear. If only, if only you hadn't gone."
When asked about what made her son go, she answers; "The situation we are in. The conditions we're living in are what forced him. This is our life, the life we're living. He went to get food for his brothers. He told me "Mum I'm quick". He just wanted to play football. He's now gone before he even got the chance. Before he could live his dream. He's gone in the blink of an eye. "Mum, I'm fast, I can run." "The fast ones can get [food]". If only you hadn't gone. If only you weren't fast and stayed with me, my dear."
A man nearby asks the Muslim people of the world to care; "For a bit of food. From this unjust world. God is sufficient for me, and he is the best disposer of affairs. All the Muslims have abandoned Palestine and the people of Gaza."
He goes on to explain "There's no food, the people have died. People have died from hunger. No one is paying attention to Gaza. No one is speaking about what is happening about what's happening in Gaza."
When the father of the boy (who was murdered) was asked about his message to the world, he ended his statement by saying "The world is watching us. Let them watch all they want. What goes around comes around."
In the video, you find out that 21+ people were murdered yesterday, and about 60% of the injured who were transferred to the the Red Cross Hospital (120+ injuries) were critical, they will or have died since.
The massacre in Gaza continues. Day after day, as we live our lives they suffer and are killed for simply wanting aid. I apologise for this, but just want to remind and ask everyone to share this and keep signing, share Gazan voices, bear witness, stay updated, protest, and keep lobbying here and here.
