Hello everyone, I am aware that this petition gives you guys an abundance of updates, such as sharing news and such.
But here I would love to reach you on three fundraisers I have came across online that need your dire help. These situations are dire, and it would be upmost appreciated if you could chip in any amount or share these fundraisers to help (no pressure of course <3).
Ahmed Mazen is a man from Gaza, living in displacement and his life filled with responsibilities. His father suffers from numerous diseases, and his life is at risk. He may die within the next few days without the necessary treatment. Medicine and medical costs are beyond Ahmed's means. Ahmed himself attempted to get food at an "aid distribution" hub our petition aims to bring awareness about. Ahmed's leg was shot and injured, and he received surgery. His leg risks amputation if he doesn't take care. He has now been resorting to fundraising efforts. You can show support for our cause by helping those affected.
Could you imagine being shot in the abdomen, and needing urgent treatment and surgery that you cannot receive in Gaza - needing to travel, but you don't have the means? This is a reality for Samir, a young man. He is now in a coma, and he too risks an amputation of his foot. His condition is too much for the hospital to bear, as hospitals in Gaza are incredibly low on recourses and supplies.
Samir's family have been working hard to appeal to people on social media, on top of all their daily suffering. Samir's father Ahmed needs $300 in donations per day for treatment and travel costs, but they hardly raise $30. Slow donations puts Samir's life at risk. Ahmed was also forced to risk his life by visiting the "aid" hubs where he witnessed people killed around him.
Nour is a mother from Gaza, and comparing her life from before the destruction to how she lives now upsets her, as all she wishes for is a normal life for her children; Hussein (6 years old), Rajaa (5 years old) and Youssef (10 months old). Her children deserve to grow up in a healthy and stable environment, without the threat of death looming over their heads. They can no longer bear constantly moving around for safety. Rajaa has contracted Hepatitis, and Youssef has been deprived of the necessary nutrition for his age.
They have reached 66% of their goal, they thank anyone who considers their plea.
