Hello, my name is Jamahl I am an 18-year-old student from New Zealand, I was motivated to make this petition after hearing about this being censored. you see i used to have respect for Elon until he got involved in culture war politics, sowing division (plus the whole Epstein situation) and his obsession with reproduction and exploitation of women; his numerous failures from the boring company, Tesla's shortcomings; SpaceX is quietly watering down its ambitions for Mars, plus his abuse of wealth and his pursuit of endless greed, and so I was both following and awaiting this Musk documentary to expose all of this.

Despite both the multi-year effort to produce the documentary the praise and success of Alex Gibney's Musk documentary with a 5-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, the international rollout of the documentary across major Western regions are being stalled due to political pressure and legal threats.

Corporate self-censorship and censorship of any kind has no place in the film industry, nor should some billionaire's legal team have dictate what the audience can and cannot see, it undermines the spirit of cinema as well as freedom of expression and freedom of speech, these are the very same principles that Elon Musk has claimed to champion but seems to only do so when convenient for him, his beliefs and his reputation.

By signing this petition, we, the people and the global community, are showing distributors and more specifically Universal to honor their commitment to an international theatrical and streaming release, or hand over the rights to independent regional distributors who has the courage to show it.
