I am terrified. Terrified as I watch our democracy crumble and our country handed over to foreign nationals, to Vladimir Putin. This distresses me personally because I believe in the principles that our country was built on - principles of justice, freedom, and democracy. Yet, it feels as though these values are being trampled on under the administration of Donald R. Trump. Trump has faced allegations of inciting violence, dividing the nation, and even colluding with foreign powers, undermining the integrity of our electoral process. Although an investigation led by Robert Mueller did not establish a criminal conspiracy between Trump's campaign and Russia, it did not entirely exonerate him. (Information from the Mueller Report). Our democracy, our nation is at stake. We simply cannot afford to sit back and let this happen. Let us raise our voices, express our concerns, demand accountability.
