We, the undersigned members of the Ridgefield community, demand the immediate removal of Andrew Borek from the Ridgefield Board of Education (BOE). His continued presence raises urgent concerns about the values and ethics that guide our public education system.

The Board of Education holds the power to shape the direction, inclusivity, and success of our schools. It is a role that requires integrity, transparency, and consistent leadership. Over time, however, serious allegations and patterns of misconduct have emerged involving Mr. Borek—allegations that directly undermine his ability to serve responsibly or effectively.

🔍 Key Issues:

• Harassment and inappropriate conduct: Multiple individuals have reported troubling incidents involving harassment, sexual harassment, and inappropriate behavior toward underage girls. These reports have deeply shaken public trust in Mr. Borek's judgment and character.
• Politicizing minors: Mr. Borek has been tied to an incident where juvenile boys were involved in a politically motivated act of property vandalism—a clear abuse of power and exposure of minors to legal risk.
• Chronic absenteeism: Mr. Borek has attended fewer than 40% of Board meetings since his appointment, neglecting the core responsibilities of his elected role.
• Hostile conduct: Community members—particularly women—have reported disrespectful, aggressive, and dismissive behavior when raising concerns or voicing opposition.
