KTLA Channel 5's recent report on the deplorable and shameful conditions at Devore animal shelter in the county of San Bernardino, California, constitute animal abuse, cruelty and neglect. They are, frankly, unimaginable in a country like America and in a modern, wealthy state like California. 

These issues are not new. For well over 10 years animal advocates have been citing the horrific conditions for animals at this shelter. Many reports have come and gone. Protests. Demands. Outrage... but the county of San Bernardino has not improved or changed anything, and now conditions are at a level that we believe most Americans do not believe can actually exist in our country. 

We are calling on Governor Newsom to step in through the power of his office and demand change. It is clear to us that the county of San Bernardino will not fix this issue without strict, and direct intervention by outside authority. 

Send a message to the State of California and Governor Newsom: This cannot continue, DO SOMETHING NOW!
