Demand the Full Removal of Ye’s “Heil Hitler” Song from All Platforms
The Issue
It should never be acceptable to glorify Adolf Hitler — the architect of genocide and the suffering of millions. Yet today, a song by Ye (formerly Kanye West) titled “Heil Hitler” is being monetized and viewed by millions, especially on X, while some platforms scramble to take it down. We cannot allow this to become normalized.
This song doesn’t just reference Hitler — it praises him, samples his voice, and spreads through memes and influencer videos. This isn’t free expression; it’s hate speech, and it’s dangerous.
While Spotify and SoundCloud have made efforts to remove the song, X has allowed it to spread unchecked. X has become the main hub for its circulation, hosting and amplifying content that glorifies one of history’s most evil figures. That is profoundly disturbing.
History shows what happens when hate goes unchallenged. We are watching antisemitism and violent ideologies gain ground under the guise of “free speech.” This is not about censorship, it’s about refusing to platform hate.
We call on every tech company — including X, YouTube, Reddit, Meta, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple, Google, and Scrybe — to permanently remove all versions, reuploads, and monetized content tied to “Heil Hitler” and “WW3.”
There is no place in any society for music that glorifies genocide. If these platforms stand against hate, they need to prove it — now.
Refusing to act isn’t neutrality. It’s enabling.
