This petition is deeply personal to us because we believe in justice, transparency, and accountability. We are gravely concerned about an incident involving Monroe County District Attorney, Sandra Doorley. On April 22, 2024, Ms. Doorley allegedly disobeyed a police officer's orders to stop her vehicle for a traffic infraction.

This act is not only dangerous but also illegal according to New York Penal Law 270.25 which states that unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle involves knowingly refusing to stop when signaled by an officer during a traffic stop - this is considered as a Class A misdemeanor.

The question that remains unanswered is why did Sandra Doorley refuse to stop? As citizens of Rochester NY and the United States at large, we deserve answers and appropriate actions taken against such misconducts irrespective of one's position in society.

We demand an immediate investigation into this matter and if found guilty as per the law stipulations, Sandra Doorley should face the consequences of her actions including dismissal from her position as District Attorney. We call upon all individuals who believe in justice and equality before the law to sign this petition demanding accountability from our public officials.
