As an alumni and deeply concerned member of the New York University community, I am writing to express my distress over the actions of one of your professors, Amin Hussain. He has been using his position at this esteemed institution to propagate hate and violence against Jews. This is not only a gross misuse of his platform but also an affront to the principles that NYU stands for.

Professor Hussain's actions are not just affecting me personally but are also influencing his students and potentially shaping their views in a harmful way. It is alarming that he is using his position as an educator to spread lies rather than fostering understanding and respect among cultures.

NYU prides itself on being a diverse and inclusive institution. However, allowing someone who promotes hate speech to hold such a significant role contradicts these values. According to data from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), anti-Semitic incidents in educational institutions have increased by 86% since 2016. This statistic underscores how crucial it is for educators like Professor Hussain to promote tolerance instead of hatred.

This petition calls upon NYU's administration to take immediate action by dismissing Professor Amin Hussain from his teaching position due to his promotion of hate speech against Jews.
