As a deeply concerned citizen, I am appalled by the inhumane and unethical treatment of our Heritage listed Brumbies. These horses are not just animals; they are an integral part of our Australian culture and heritage, deserving respect and protection. It is with great distress that we witness the mismanagement under NSW Minister of Heritage & Environment Penny Sharpe MP. The recent slaughter of an undefined number of these majestic creatures has left us far below the required 3,000 heritage listed horses.

The approval to shoot in Horse Retention Zones is a clear violation of their rights and a blatant disregard for their welfare. Furthermore, it's alarming to note that 300 Brumbies were slaughtered at an illegal abattoir in NSW through NPWS - another act approved under Sharpe's watch.

This gross misconduct falls under her jurisdiction as she oversees the Kosciuszko Horse Heritage Act 2018. Her actions have shown a lackadaisical approach towards preserving our cultural heritage and protecting these innocent animals from harm.

We cannot stand by while this atrocity continues unchecked. We demand immediate action - removal & sacking of Penny Shape MP from her position as NSW Minister for Heritage & Environment due to her gross mismanagement leading to unnecessary loss and suffering among our cherished Brumbies.
