The sign trends are absolutely spectacular— we’re getting 1 new signature every 5 minutes! This momentum is incredible, and it’s a testament to how many of us are ready to stand up against Rupert Murdoch’s tyranny and media dictatorship. If we continue working together, we CAN put an end to News Corp’s stranglehold on Australia’s media.

Our goal is to reach 100,000 signatures by the start of the Australian spring (the US & UK fall) in September. There’s no specific deadline, as long as we get there. Once we have an appropriate amount of supporters (including those from Reddit), I WILL send our petition to the Australian Petition Office.
