New working link and info for Don't Let Another Child Be Harmed by Unsafe Products Petition

 I did additional research and this button battery problem was known by the CPSC for over a decade and According to National Safety Council More than 3,500 people of all ages swallow button batteries every year. In the United States Every year more than 2,800 kids are treated in emergency rooms after swallowing button batteries; that's one child every three hours." "The number of serious injuries or deaths caused by button batteries has increased nine-fold in the last decade"
Those statistics are just for the U.S. and billions of toys and devices are still being sold with button batteries worldwide. It is time to let CPSC and manufactures know they must put an end to selling products without safety features preventing batteries from falling out and allowing children to access the batteries. The statistics suggest manufactures and CPSC have yet to figure that out on their own for over 10 years.

Please sign this petition to force manufactures to add safety features to secure battery compartments in toys etc. to prevent toddlers from swallowing harmful and sometimes fatal button batteries that fall out. This is another example of how corporations make dangerous products and they and CPSC fail to recall products in time to prevent death and injuries. 

It has been 47 years since the ion alarm consumer fraud was exposed and still no recall. The recent petition you signed to demand a recall now has 164 signatures and 99 shares and only 8 comments but it has had over 4750 views in 4 weeks. How it is so many people who saw the petition will turn a blind eye and do nothing when everyone they know is at risk with so many victims is hard to understand. Please share both petitions and make a comment letting the manufactures and CPSC know how you feel about these dangerous products and are in disbelief and angered how they have continued to allow these products to be sold. To the 65 who have yet to share petition...its never to soon to share it.
