The USDA still hasn't reinstated its database, so it's time to take further action. Today we're launching a new initiative aimed at bringing changes to the USDA, and we need your help.
For full details, watch the above video or go here: www.gofundme.com/capsusda
But here's the quick rundown. The removal of the database was only the latest in a string of failures by the USDA to protect puppy mill animals. So CAPS is taking new steps to bring about changes at the USDA.
1). We’re making a short documentary that exposes the problems at the USDA. This will be an educational tool for the public, the media, and members of Congress.
2). We are joining with other nonprofit groups to sue the USDA over its deleted puppy mill database.
3). CAPS is starting a campaign of relentless pressure on Congress and the USDA, and we won't stop until the USDA begins to fully enforce the Animal Welfare Act.
We have a fundraising goal of $25,000 for this new initiative. You can read more about our plans and donate online here: www.gofundme.com/capsusda
Please consider making a donation today, and take a moment to share the link with friends and family. Together, we can stop the suffering of dogs and cats in mills. On behalf of those voiceless animals, we thank you for your compassion.
