This spring there will be an update to Canada's breast cancer screening guidelines. However, the update process is deeply flawed and is failing to consider the latest scientific data, racial disparities and the rising incidence of breast cancer in young women. Our window to get safe and responsible guidelines is closing fast. We drafted a letter to the health minister detailing the necessary actions the government must take now.
