As a concerned citizen, I am deeply troubled by the current political climate. Radical conservatives and white nationalists are threatening our democracy, undermining voting rights, minority rights, LGBTQI+ rights, and womyn’s rights. It is time for us to take a stand.

We call upon the Democratic National Committee and the White House to make vital changes in their approach:

1) We urge you to move the nominating convention to an earlier date. This will counteract attempts by at least three states trying to keep Biden off of the November ballot.

2) We ask that you reconsider lavish spending on conventions. Instead, do what is minimally necessary for Biden's nomination confirmation and invest those savings into his campaign.

3) Lastly, we implore you not to just play into radical conservative plans, but actively fight against them.

According to Pew Research Center (2020), 61% of Americans believe there should be a way for undocumented immigrants who meet certain requirements to stay in America legally - yet this voice is being drowned out by radical conservative actions. Our democracy thrives when every voice can be heard - let's ensure it stays that way!
