THANK YOU ALL for demanding that Rep. Underwood sign onto the House's Ceasefire Now resolution and vote against sending billions of dollars in aid support Israel's brutal genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. We have gotten 114 signatures already!

But the work continues. In a recent phone call with me, Rep. Underwood said that there is “no situation in which [she] will vote against” sending more military funding to Israel.

Our congresspeople's unwillingness to represent their constituents is truly appalling. This month, a Data for Progress poll showed that 61% percent of likely voters, including a majority of Democrats (76%) and Independents (57%) and a plurality of Republicans (49%), support the U.S. calling for a permanent ceasefire and a de-escalation of violence in Gaza. But only a handful of our leaders are supporting the Ceasefire Now resolution and voting against sending more aid to Israel.
