Recent research analyzing previously published diet studies concluded that "Participants assigned to a low-carb diet were 99 percent more likely to lose weight than those avoiding fats." Shockingly, the Dietary Guidelines fail to acknowledge this science, despite the overwhelmingly greater odds of having better success with low-carb diets. Share with your family and friends and encourage them to sign this petition to get a low-carb recommendation into the Dietary Guidelines.
