Demand Texas GOP Chair Resign for Targeting Jews and Muslims

Demand Texas GOP Chair Resign for Targeting Jews and Muslims

The Issue

In Texas, we pride ourselves on community, decency, and standing up for what’s right. That’s why it’s so shocking—and unacceptable—that Tarrant County GOP Chair Bo French posted a poll asking whether “Jews” or “Muslims” pose a bigger threat to America.

This isn’t political discourse. It’s blatant hate speech from a man trusted to lead one of the most powerful Republican chapters in the state. It happened in Texas. And it happened publicly.

At a time when antisemitism and anti-Muslim hate crimes are surging nationwide, an elected party official used his platform to pit communities against each other—fueling division, distrust, and real danger.

French didn’t apologize. He doubled down.

Leaders set the tone. When they promote this kind of rhetoric, they give permission for hate to grow louder, bolder, and more violent.

We are calling on the Republican Party of Texas, the Tarrant County GOP, and every Texas lawmaker to take a stand. Condemn Bo French’s statements. Demand his resignation. Make it clear that this kind of behavior has no place in Texas leadership.

Sign this petition if you believe Texas deserves leaders who unite, not divide. Hate speech should never be part of public service.
