I am an alumnus of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) and like many of my alumni sisters and brothers, the recent quadrupling of the Alumni fee from 5,000 naira to 20,000 naira has hit us hard. These are challenging times, and instead of making our post-graduate journey smoother with networking platforms and job opportunities, TASUED Alumni Association has chosen to pile on the pressure.

Moreover, the association hasn't demonstrated tangible impacts over the years that justifies such an increase. The lack of visible action raises unsettling questions about the association's operations.

We, the undersigned, demand three essential things:

1. Reversal of the alumni fee in the next 72 hours. This is non negotiable! 

2. The Alumni President should submit an Audit report of the association's financial activities over the last five years within 72 hours. Nondisclosure will lead to a formal complaint to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Nigeria, enforcing necessary scrutiny into the financial affairs of our Alumni Association.

3. The executives of the association are to make the constitution of the association available to every alumna and alumnus within 72 hours. Transparency is non-negotiable in an institution that churn out leaders and trailblazers.

We stand firm in believing in the promise of our alma mater and the value it can bring to the lives of its alumni. Let's join hands to hold our TASUED Alumni Association accountable and ensure that it fulfills its duty to us all. Sign this petition and lend your voice to this critical cause.
