The animals in the Molopo Nature Reserve are suffering from severe dehydration due to the NW Parks and Tourism Board's negligence. This board has failed to fulfill its legislative obligations by not providing permanent, sustainable, and sufficient water provision for these animals. This conduct is not only a breach of their duties but also an act of cruelty towards animals, which is morally unacceptable. 

The South African Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has been insisting that this cruelty must cease immediately, and we stand with them in this fight. According to World Wildlife Fund (WWF), access to clean water is fundamental for wildlife survival, especially in arid regions like Molopo.

1. Demand that the NW Parks and Tourism Board take immediate action towards ensuring a sustainable water supply system within the reserve;
2. Demand that the NW Parks and Tourism Board ensure emergency funds are allocated towards the management of water provision in the reserve;
3. Demand that the NW Parks and Tourism Board give permission to Agri Vorstershoop to oversee the restoration of sustainable water supply systems to the reserve and allow Agri Vorstershoop to attend to reparation works on the water supply systems.
