Introduction

Time is of the essence. With the recent election results and court rulings at all levels, there is a justifiable concern that the court system is no longer impartial.

Recent rulings have deprived nearly half the citizens of the country of their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (Roe v. Wade). Other rulings have jeopardized the government's role as an advocate for the people (Chevron deference) and created a situation where the president has unconstitutional ultimate power over citizens, up to and including their lives—all at the whim of the individual in office.

The current court leadership will not provide an effective check on presidential and congressional powers in the next session. To maintain our democracy, this must be changed immediately.

The purpose of this petition is to call on President Biden to address a recently created loophole and restore the right to life for all citizens. We urge him to re-establish the government's role in advocating for the people and eliminate the dangerous situation where one person holds ultimate authority over all citizens.

This is an existential moment for our democracy. Years of gradual deference to personal wishes over commitment to the country have led to a situation where many elected officials see their personal wants and beliefs as valid motivations for policy. The country needs a check in place to counter these tendencies and protect the lives of all citizens.

II. Background

With respect to the Supreme Court, the past few nominations have been executed in a biased manner, driven by personal goals. One position was filled by the Senate leadership refusing to entertain the president’s nominations. Another was pushed through despite credible claims of potential bias. The third was pushed through contrary to the reasoning the same Senate leadership gave for stalling another position.

The rationale for these selections was motivated by partisan concerns and personal desires, aiming to make everyone in the country conform to their beliefs. This impacts all citizens' freedom to live and practice religion, prioritizing their preferences over others.

These Supreme Court members crossed a moral, professional, and ethical line with their decisions. It’s particularly reprehensible that they believe a former president deserves immunity when he claims he “can do anything he wants.” They abandoned any pretense of considering what is best for the nation.

III. Issue Statement

The problem is that six Supreme Court justices have significantly strayed from their moral and ethical duties as leaders of jurisprudence in this country. They have taken away the right to life of nearly half the country’s citizens and have ruled to specifically favor the interests of those they are beholden to.

Our democracy cannot survive without this being remedied. Our incoming president has given no indication that he will address it; rather, he enjoys the relationship.

The only way to fix this issue is if you, President Biden, use the unlimited power that you have been granted to the extent necessary to succeed.

IV. Call to Action

In sum:

Exploit the. Current loophole in presidential powers.
Restore the rule of law by appointing unbiased supreme court judges..
Their rulings will close the loophole so no other president will ever think they can do “anything.”

We petition you to remedy the integrity of our legal system in the days you have remaining in power by doing the following:

Surround yourself with loyalists to the U.S. Constitution.
Request a list of six nominees for the Supreme Court from the American Bar Association (or another non-partisan organization that the public will trust). Ensure each nominee upholds the principles of the Supreme Court ethics, favors no one, and commits to reviewing Roe v. Wade, Chevron Deference, and Presidential Immunity, with decisions handed down before January 20th. (Presidents should be accountable to the law according to long-standing tradition and should be open for indictment even when sitting as president—that’s what a Vice President is for.)
Inform the six current sitting biased judges that their services are no longer required. If you receive their resignations within 48 hours, they may step down with full pensions. Make it known you will explore other options for their removal according to the power you have been granted when exercising official acts. (Keep in mind their ruling on presidential immunity was written with the full knowledge and ultimate consent that the president may order executions of those who stand in his way - so you do have flexibility to act. 
Appoint your selection. The rule of law is restored, after you, the president clarity will be asserted and no president will ever have the power to overrule the Constitution again thanks to you, and we will have an effective check and balance once more for all people.
Remember, the current president elect said “As president, I can do anything I want.” So he’ll totally understand if you need to push the inauguration day back a few days to get the court settled and the rule of law restored.

V. Benefits of Action

A strong, non-partisan court can focus on clearing up biased decisions and restoring the reputation for fair dealing nationwide. It can decide issues based on what is best for the nation according to our Constitution, not who has the most money or creates the most noise. This is the best chance to preserve the rights of all Americans and enable our Constitution to endure.

I encourage all citizens to sign this petition and circulate it. Please ensure the President sees this. Our system of government has endured challenges that have threatened the stability of our democracy. This action will help prevent further erosion.VII. 

Mr. President, this will also stop the nonsense of using the courts for personal vendettas. There is no place for a leader to have revenge and retribution on their agenda and you can prevent this.
