I am an avid gamer and a frequent customer of Valve Corporation's digital distribution service, Steam. For me, Steam has always been a reliable platform to purchase and enjoy quality games. However, the recent situation with "Kerbal Space Program 2" (KSP2) on Steam has rattled my trust in this platform and its dedication to protect its customer base.

KSP2, a highly anticipated sequel, was made available in its beta-release stage on Steam, and many consumers, including myself, purchased the game believing in the promises of a high-quality, engaging space exploration experience. However, alas, the product did not live up to its promises, and we were left with a subpar experience.

This not only raises significant questions about the integrity of Steam's vetting process for games but also points out a glaring loophole that allows companies to exploit eager customers. The refund requests for KSP2 have been rising steadily, exemplifying the disappointment of customers. However, a significant chunk of users who are stuck with the game cannot get their deserved refunds due to Steam's standard refund policy that usually grants refunds only if the user has played the game for under two hours.

The importance of maintaining Steam's integrity and customer trust cannot be overstated. Therefore, I urge Steam to take this matter seriously, remove "Kerbal Space Program 2" from its online store, and refund all purchases made for the beta-release of the game. This would not only restore customer trust in the platform but also send a strong message to all game developers about the level of quality Steam and its customers expect. Please, sign this petition and join me in calling for justice for all gamers who were misled into buying an unsatisfactory product.
