Neighbors, As our community campaign grows closer to hitting 200 signatures, I want to thank each of you for standing up for constitutional liberty in St. Johns County. Ahead of taking our message to the Board of County Commissioners this Tuesday morning, I have made an important update to the petition text and our formal demands. Based on feedback from our neighbors, we have completely removed any references to private property security cameras or the "Connect St. Johns" private portal. This campaign is rooted in liberty and personal freedom—and that means firmly respecting the rights of individual homeowners and local businesses to protect their own private property exactly as they see fit. Moving forward, our petition and our 3-minute speech to the commission focus strictly on warrantless government tracking grids operating on public roads. We are drawing the line where public tax dollars are used to log our vehicle movements across county thoroughfares via 160+ Flock cameras without a warrant or probable cause. Realigning our focus ensures we are united on one clear, foundational principle: protecting law-abiding citizens from public mass surveillance while upholding the Fourth Amendment.
