Demand Special Meeting for Removal of Stonecrest HOA Board Directors

The Issue

Stonecrest HOA Board Directors have potentially and/or allegedly been found to be in violation of several of our community bylaws listed in Article III Voting Rights, Article VI Property Maintenance, Article VII Use Restrictions, Meeting of Members, and Members' Rights and Obligations. These violations are serious as they undermine the democratic processes within our community and compromise the quality of life we all deserve.

As a certified property manager for over 20 years and a licensed realtor, here are a few questions that should raise concerns as HOA homeowners:

  1. Where is a copy of the voting ballots from banning renters from the subdivision? I obtained a copy and there appears to be possible forgery committed to get this passed, "allegedly." Why was this document filed under false pretense with the chancery court, "allegedly?"
  2. Why does the board president have a basketball goal concreted into the ground without a fence when the bylaws clearly state ALL basketball goals must be fenced in? Has he/she been fined?
  3. Why does the board secretary have old tires sitting on the side of his/her home which is in violation of the community bylaws? Has he/she been fined?
  4. Why are there FIVE people on the board when the bylaws state that only THREE are required? Where's the required amendment for the additional TWO?
  5. Why does this board go silent when it's time for our voices to be heard such as voting for board positions, annually? Why was an interested homeowner left off the 2024 ballot?
  6. What community events has the HOA coordinated or hosted to get us together as neighbors?
  7. Where's the proper communication regarding community projects and timelines?
  8. Is there a reason why landscaping is this community's largest expense with bare minimum landscaping to maintain? Why are we paying the same contract amount during the winter season as we do in the spring/summer?
  9. Why direct homeowners to a portal that has limited to no information and minimum email follow ups?
  10. Why are we paying HOA dues with NO CAP but, experience lack of transparency with community expenses?

The HOA meetings are unproductive and promote toxicity based on observations and failure for this board to follow up with the community.

The current situation is unacceptable. We need accountability from those who are supposed to represent us. We demand an immediate change - starting with the removal of current Stonecrest HOA Board Directors for their alleged blatant disregard for our community's bylaws.

As a current Stonecrest homeowner, who has recently experienced unjust treatment and retaliation by Stonecrest HOA and Keith Collins Management, we are calling for the removal of Stonecrest HOA Directors. After submitting written requests for specific governing documents and raising questions or concerns regarding community financials, I was falsely accused of an illegal act without any supporting documentation. This is not an isolated incident - several homeowners have come forward with similar allegations against our community HOA and Keith Collins Management.

As stated in the community bylaws, board directors are to be elected annually and the current 2024 board directors have not been elected but, appointed by default. We call upon all residents of Stonecrest to demand accountability from the HOA and fairness within our own homes. Your signature can make a difference – it sends a strong message that we will not tolerate such behavior from those entrusted with managing our community affairs.
