To be clear- Forest Lake Club now allows non-white members. The only public information is that they reversed their racist non-white sponsorships starting in 2017. Not 1967, not 1977. 2017. The McMasters were members for 30 years before that. In 1987, national media carried the story of non-whites who had the financial means to meet the success requirements to join. 

This petition is about demanding an apology and for McMaster to publicly denounce the racist policies of private clubs like this that STILL exist in the state. You can’t say black lives matter and have cocktails where black people aren’t admitted— that inequality, segregation and systemic racism. 

We demand the governor address his state with and explanation.
