Sandra Merchant was elected as the new Cascade County Clerk and Recorder last November. In just a few short months, Merchant has rendered the department inoperable. Merchant's incompetence has been detailed in numerous articles. In response to Merchant's incompetence and unethical actions, local citizens have formed the Election Protection Committee.
