Demand Rocket Mortgage to Fully Comply with ADA Employment Requirements
The Issue
As a former employee of Rocket Mortgage, my employment was unjustly terminated on October 21, 2021. My personal experience with the company has demonstrated a disturbing disregard for the requirements stipulated in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Specifically, Rocket Mortgage has repeatedly shown that it does not offer reasonable accommodations to its employees as required by this federal law, thus denying individuals with disabilities their right to a fair and equitable workplace. My personal encounter with this wrongful conduct led me to file a lawsuit (CV 23-01982-PHX-SRB).
Federal law requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants or employees. A "reasonable accommodation" is a change that accommodates employees with disabilities so they can do their jobs without undue hardship. This unfair treatment is not just my story - it concerns the approximately 15 percent of Rocket Mortgage's workforce that reports having a disability. There are over 15,000 + employees with Rocket Mortgage and none of them are being made aware of their federal rights!!
Rocket Mortgage's noncompliance is a breach of federal law and a disregard for the rights and liberties of their workers. This issue not only affects me but also other employees who may have been denied their rights due to the company's failure to comply with the ADA.
Let's hold Rocket Mortgage accountable for their actions. Sign our petition to demand that Rocket Mortgage provide full ADA reasonable accommodations to its employees as stipulated by federal law. Let's make them change!!!
