We are calling on members of the Newbury Park High School (NPHS) community to demand the resignation of Principal Stephen Lepire. Under his leadership, the school has failed to commit to ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all students. Cases of bullying and harassment have not been adequately addressed, resulting in a pervasive culture of fear. Students have also reported consistent instances of discrimination, and efforts to foster inclusivity have been woefully insufficient. Furthermore, the school's leadership has exhibited poor communication and has taken insufficient actions towards problem resolution. It is vital for the growth and development of our students that these issues be rectified immediately. We need a leader at the helm who can prioritize and enhance student welfare and inclusivity. Therefore, we, the NPHS community, petition for the immediate resignation of Principal Stephen Lepire.
