The Issue

Louisiana deserves leaders who uphold the highest standards, especially when it comes to protecting lives on our roads.

On May 21, 2025, State Representative Kyle M. Green, Jr. was arrested for driving while intoxicated and child endangerment after crashing into a concrete barrier in Jefferson Parish. His three children were in the car.

Thankfully, they were not physically injured. But this could have ended in tragedy.

As the founder of Simmons 3, a nonprofit created after my three teenage siblings were killed by an impaired driver, I know firsthand what happens when someone makes this choice. My mom survived the crash. She had no choice. This man chose to drive impaired with his own children in the car.

Our legislators should set an example, not endanger lives. This is not just a private mistake. It is a public betrayal of trust, and it calls for accountability.

We are calling on State Representative Kyle Green to resign immediately from office.
Not because we are rushing to judgment, but because the facts already show a serious lapse in judgment that disqualifies him from continuing to represent the people of Louisiana.

If we say we care about safety, if we say impaired driving matters, then this matters too.

Sign to stand for accountability and leadership that puts lives first.
