I am deeply moved to initiate this petition due to my personal conviction that genocide is fundamentally wrong, and our political system is failing us. For too long, our politicians have supported and even applauded the atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. This situation has been ongoing for decades, and it's high time we hold them accountable.

Kier Starmer, as the leader of the Labour Party, has shown complicity in this crisis. His lack of action and silence on Israel's aggressive policies towards Palestinians are seen as tacit approval of these actions. It is estimated that over 5,000 Palestinians have lost their lives in conflicts with Israel since 2008 (source: United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs). Yet despite these alarming figures, there seems to be no significant move from Mr. Starmer or his party to address this issue.

We believe that leaders should stand up against injustice wherever it occurs. They should not stay silent when human rights are violated on such a massive scale. Therefore we demand Kier Starmer's resignation as Labour Leader due to his complicity in what can only be described as a humanitarian crisis.
