I, like many in our community, have lost faith in the ability of Councilmember Eileen Wang to adequately represent us due to the allegations surrounding her fiancé's suspected ties to the Chinese Communist Party. These serious allegations raise concerns about potential conflicts of interest and jeopardize the confidentiality of sensitive information. Our public officials represent us; they should be above reproach, demonstrating integrity and fairness in all their dealings. 

Unfortunately, the swirl of controversy around Councilmember Wang makes it increasingly difficult for her to effectively perform her duties and undermines the reputation and credibility of our city council. Wang's resignation would go a long way in restoring public confidence and ensuring the transparency necessary for effective governance.

Citizens deserve representatives whose loyalty and commitment are unquestionable. That's why I am calling for the immediate resignation of Councilmember Eileen Wang. Allowing her to continue in her position will only serve to further erode public trust.

The integrity and security of our local government is paramount, and Councilmember Wang's resignation is necessary to restore the integrity and transparency of our city council. We demand that Councilmember Eileen Wang step down and help restore faith in our city council.
