The recent verdict by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa in the Mubarak Sani Qadiani Case was deeply unsettling for many of us, including me. We believe this ruling marks a troubling departure from the long-standing constitutional principles that have consistently guided our nation. In our perspective, the Chief Justice has grossly exceeded his judicial boundaries by interpreting the Constitution to seemingly alter its original intent and meaning.

Our petition targets the judicial authorities, the President, the Prime Minister, the Members of Parliament, and the general public of Pakistan with a demand for the immediate resignation of Justice Isa. We believe there is a pressing need to invoke Article 6 of the Constitution, as we view his recent decisions as a potentially damaging overreach of authority that undermines the foundational principles that define our Constitution.

It's crucial that our Constitution—a sacred accord that consolidates the democratic values and rules guiding us—remains unaltered in its original spirit and meaning. The decision of the Chief Justice confounded many, prompting serious questions about his role in safeguarding these principles.
