Demand Resignation of Board Directors For Local Cultural Heritage Preservation

The issue

Standing with the local residents and part of the Boulia community helping where I can to make a difference, I am incensed by the negligence of our current board of the Pitta Pitta Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC in conserving our cultural heritage sites. Their disregard towards the preservation of our local history and traditions is an inexcusably disrespectful stain on their leadership.

Furthermore, their deafening silence towards our views has been a stark reminder of their failures. We, the silenced Boulia people, and our precious heritage deserve to be heard and preserved. It's disheartening that our cultural heritage and voices are neglected due to a lack of representation locally.

The very fabric of our community encompasses the respect and preservation of our cultural sites. The United Nations who confirms that heritage sites play a key role in maintaining the cultural identity of a local population backs this.

Therefore, I am demanding the resignation of the entire board of directors. Their departure is necessary for the survival and preservation of our cultural heritage. It will also reinstate the voice of the Boulia community, ensuring they are heard and adequately represented. It's high-time to elect a board that prioritizes, respects, and champions our local history, traditions, and people.

Make a stand for our local culture and heritage. Sign the petition to insist on the resignation of the current board of directors who have failed us. Our voices matter, and our heritage is worth fighting for.
