Buffy Williams currently holds the position of Rhondda Member of the Senedd (MS). Several actions and stances taken by her during her tenure have sparked concerns among voters. Residents of Rhondda Cynon Taf now believe it is in the best interest of the community that Buffy Williams resigns with immediate effect, never to work in public office again in any capacity. 

Buffy Williams was voted in as an MS by we the people, therefore she works for we the people. We pay her wage out of tax payers money, therefore her wage is public funds. She has gone against we the people in every which way, sinking to a whole new low this time, by going after a decorated Royal Marine Veteran Jamie Michael. Jamie a well respected and much loved pillar of our community, was arrested and remanded in custody for 3 weeks, resulting in him missing his daughters birthday, causing harm and distress to his family and loss of earnings. Subsequently he was released from remand but his movements remained restricted due to restrictive bail conditions. These restrictions hindered his ability to support his community in the same capacity as he did prior to his arrest. He experienced additional loss of earnings during the trial. All because Buffy Williams Rhondda MS wanted to shut him up and went for we the people's freedom of speech, when she should have been with us, we the people. At the cost of tax payers money for the trial of an innocent man, during a financial crisis all while people are having to make choices between heating their home or fuelling their body. It took the jury just 17 minutes to find Jamie Michael innocent.

Its vital that Williams never works in a public office in any capacity again. Her actions during her term have demonstrated a lack of the integrity and commitment needed to serve the public. Her handling of prominent issues has not aligned with the expectations and needs of those she swore to serve, we the people.

For the sake of the Rhondda Cynon Taf community, and in the name of governmental responsibility and accountability, we the people demand her immediate resignation and permanent withdrawal from public office.
