Republican leaders are once again threatening a government shutdown. Even though the last one accomplished nothing, and even though it cost us $24 billion.

Enough is enough. If Republicans are going to force America to endure this hardship, then they need to feel the pain themselves. Sign the petition, and demand that Republicans in Congress promise to give up their salaries if they force a shutdown.

And to be clear, we mean give up their salaries for real. No tricks like in the past, with merely delayed payment, or retroactive repayment later.

Sign and tell the Republicans: "Shutdown? No salary for you."
