I am one of many tenants deeply troubled by degrading and unjust treatment from the current property manager at our housing complex in Gastonia, NC. Not only has she violated our privacy by entering our homes and taking pictures without our consent, but she has also exercised her power unjustly by non-renewing leases and forcibly evicting tenants when their lease periods are not yet over.

She imposes arbitrary rules upon us, such as prohibiting children from playing outside and allowing certain tenants to keep dogs, despite a clear clause in the lease agreement against pets. She has even called the police on my son for merely riding his dirty bike.

Many tenants have had to relocate due to her authoritarian management style, leading to an alarming rate of tenant turnover. This hampers community stability and disrupts the lives of Gastonia residents.

Her behavior puts her in regrettable light, reflected in the multitude of negative reviews on Google. Her specific disdain for young women and her disregard for tenant privacy is unmistakably pronounced. With her at the helm, personal freedom and tenant rights are trampled upon.

Moreover, her actions are against the North Carolina Landlord and Tenant Act, which clearly outlines rights and responsibilities of landlords to ensure peaceful enjoyment, and prescribes prohibition of unreasonable rules and regulations.

We no longer wish to live in fear in our own homes. We believe a change of management is urgently needed for our community to resume living in peace and dignity. I implore you, as responsible and concerned citizens of Gastonia, to stand up against this ill treatment.
