We need your help now more than ever. We have close to 7,500 signatures, but we need at minimum 10,000 to make an impact.

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control continues to decline. Staff are quitting, dogs are neglected and medical needs aren't met, they have decided to cut back on cleaning protocols due to staff shortage, and they are killing adoptable dogs even when a New Hope (approved) rescue is willing to take responsibility for the dog. 

Distemper is breaking out once again in the shelter due to neglect and malpractice by the clinic. They ignore sick dogs until they are showing neurological signs and then they euthanize them. Reports by staff indicate they are doing little to mitigate the disease and often place healthy dogs in isolation wards because 'they are going to be euthanized anyway'.

We desperately need your voice and the voices of others. Please share this petition everywhere you can - IG, Tik Tok, Twitter, and Nextdoor. You can also look for community groups on Facebook and tell them why it is important to sign.
