I have spent my hard-earned money on my vehicles, and I always expect them to be powered by pure, unadulterated fuel. Unfortunately, the recent moves by our government to impose adulterated or mixed fuels is not acceptable. As honest taxpayers and responsible citizens of India, we should have the right to choose the best for ourselves and our vehicles.

The imposition of mixed or adulterated fuels not only reduces the efficiency of our vehicles but also poses severe risks to their longevity and, most importantly, our environment. Vehicles running on impure fuel can emit higher pollutant levels, directly contributing to India's already alarming pollution rates. According to data from the World Health Organization, 14 out of the world’s most polluted cities are in India. Clearly, every step that increases pollution, however minor it seems, is a step in the wrong direction.

Moreover, such practices undermine the investment of millions of Indians who, like me, have spent their savings on reliable transportation. Adulterated fuels increase maintenance costs due to frequent engine damage and reduced performance, burdening citizens further. It's also a matter of safety, as impurities in fuel can lead to unexpected engine failures, potentially endangering lives on the road.

It is imperative that the government listens to its citizens. We demand transparency from fuel suppliers, implementation of strict quality checks, and an immediate halt to the imposition of adulterated fuels. Government should actively promote and facilitate the availability of pure fuels at all fuel stations across the country.
